Job Description

Our business is growing, and we are looking for Building Engineers with a focus on calculation who want to be part of our continued development.

Our building engineers have broad and solid competence and work on assignments within all types of commercial, public, and socially significant buildings. The assignments cover all stages, from preliminary studies to construction document design.

As a Lead Structural Engineer here, you will play a key role in our projects by leading and quality-assuring the calculation work. You are responsible for coordinating and driving the calculation work in projects forward within given timeframes and budgets, while actively sharing your knowledge and experience with the team.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead and plan the work within the project's calculation group.
• Compile and document calculation tasks with clear scope, division of responsibilities, and schedule.
• Coordinate calculation work with other handlers and report regularly to the project manager.
• Ensure quality through self-checks, reviews, and documented walkthroughs.
• Participate in external meetings and contribute to good communication with clients and side consultants.
• Identify and report the need for additional calculation work or changed directives.

The workplace is at our office in Liljeholmen, Stockholm.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are educated as a Civil Engineer and have at least 10 years of experience as a calculation engineer within the design of load-bearing structures in concrete, steel, and wood.

You have documented experience in leading technical teams and coordinating calculation work.

You have a good ability to make decisions based on facts and previous experiences and are accustomed to working structured with documentation and quality assurance.

You find it easy to understand and participate in technical discussions and thrive in an environment characterized by strong growth.

Naturally, you see yourself as a team player, and it is natural for you to share your knowledge and help others develop.

For this role, Swedish citizenship is required, as well as prerequisites for a successful security clearance.
