About the role of Cost Estimator
The role involves responsibility for calculating changes and additional works (ÄTA), production calculations, cost monitoring, and economic support to the project organization. As a cost estimator, you will work closely with project managers, procurement, and production to ensure accurate calculations and decision-making materials.
Specifically, the work involves:
- Preparing calculations for ÄTA and production changes
- Performing quantity calculations and developing cost basis
- Responsible for cost assessments, monitoring, and economic analyses
- Participating in procurement and offer evaluation
- Collaborating with project management, production, and design
Who are you?
To succeed in the role, we see that you have:
- Experience in cost estimation within electrical contracting.
- Good technical understanding of electrical power and installation systems.
- Experience in quantity take-off and cost estimation from drawings and technical documents.
- Good knowledge of Excel and calculation programs.
- Very good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
It is highly meritorious if you have experience with business-critical facilities such as data centers, hospitals, or similar environments. Experience with contracting projects according to AB/ABT as well as critical infrastructure, such as UPS, backup power, switchgear, and power distribution, is also meritorious. If you have also worked with ÄTA management and contract economics, we see this as a big plus.

Additional information
The position is a full-time consultancy assignment for one year with the possibility of extension. Start date is ASAP.
