About the role

As a Business Developer, your primary responsibility is to coordinate Svenska Kraftnät's work on emergency operations and restoration. This is a growing area that is becoming increasingly important. The field needs development, and you will be a key part of that development. You will contribute to Division Systems' preparedness work, which covers electricity supply across all system operating states and all societal conditions.

The role will also involve:

• Working with a holistic perspective within the area.
• Managing contracts and reviewing supplier reports.
• Developing processes and working methods for the area, including distributing responsibilities for different sub-areas within the business.
• Managing the developed processes.
• Participating in the unit's work with assignments and investigations.

The role places a strong focus on the development of working methods, processes, and follow-up within the area of emergency operations and restoration. You will have the opportunity to influence future working methods while building knowledge of relevant regulations and developing your technical competence in the field.

The work involves many contact surfaces and close collaboration with various parts of the business to contribute to the long-term integration of preparedness capabilities into core operations.

The Resilience and Civil Preparedness unit directs and coordinates Division Systems' work on civil preparedness with the goal of maintaining a robust and resilient electricity system in all societal conditions. The unit's work constitutes a coordinated part of Svenska Kraftnät's joint preparedness planning.

About you

Requirements

We are looking for someone who is structured and has the ability to plan and prioritize their work effectively. You are analytical and enjoy delving into complex issues and contributing to the development of working methods and processes. Since the role involves many contact surfaces, we are looking for someone who is collaborative and thrives in teamwork. We also value that you are curious and creative, with an interest in testing new working methods and contributing new perspectives.

Furthermore, you hold an engineering degree or equivalent competence acquired in another way, as assessed by Svenska Kraftnät.

You also have:

• 5 years of professional experience.
• Good ability to communicate in speech and writing in Swedish and English.

Meritorious competencies

• Professional experience from the electricity system/energy sector.
• Professional experience in preparedness work.
• Professional experience in process leadership and/or process development.
• Professional experience in coordination, project management, and leadership.

• The position is located in Sundbyberg or Västerås.
• Opportunity for remote work up to 50% #LI-hybrid.
• Travel within Sweden occurs in this role.
