Within the Power Systems business unit, we work on, among other things, the design and detailed construction of lines and substations within the regional and transmission grids.

The projects we work on are carried out as team-based consultancy assignments with a mix of junior and senior experts. As an employee at Norconsult Sweden, you will primarily work on projects in the Swedish market, but you are also open to participating in projects in other markets. The majority of our projects involve expanding and upgrading power grids to enable a fossil-free energy system based on solar, wind, and hydropower.

Our specialist competence lies in the design and construction of power lines and substations at voltage levels of 130-400 kV. We perform detailed constructions of substations and power line poles, inspections during construction, and surveys of facilities within the regional and transmission grids.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have at least five years of experience as a constructor in steel and foundation work, for example within electrical power, infrastructure, or construction. You have documented experience in design within power grids, civil engineering, or related technical fields, and want to contribute your expertise to projects supporting the energy transition.

You have a genuine interest in design and technological development and thrive in a role where you can combine technical problem-solving with collaboration in project teams. Since we are industry leaders in model-based deliveries, we would appreciate it if you had experience with BIM and digital working methods. Experience in designing facilities within regional and transmission grids, AMA standards, programming, or process development is advantageous.

As a person, you are communicative (also in English), unpretentious, and have a strong focus on collaboration. You are solution-focused and appreciate the freedom and responsibility you will be given.

We are looking for you who have:

• A university or civil engineering degree in fields such as electrical power, civil engineering, or construction, or equivalent work experience
• Experience with the software Inventor, Revit, and Tekla
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing
• A valid driver's license (Category B)

The location is flexible, but we prefer that you are based in Stockholm, Västerås, Gothenburg, Trollhättan, Sundsvall, or Östersund.
