Your workplace

The Social Services Administration in Karlsborg is responsible for elderly care, care for people with disabilities, municipal healthcare, and individual and family care. Together, we are approximately 250 employees working to create security, independence, and a good quality of life for the municipality's residents.

Your base will be the Haganäs elderly care home, but you will work within several of our operations and units based on current needs. This provides you with a varied workday and the opportunity to develop broad competence within care and social services. The staffing team is the Social Services Administration's own resource group to create continuity and security when regular staff is absent.

Your tasks

As an employee in the staffing team, you are an important resource supporting operations within elderly care and the Support and Service Act (LSS) during both planned absences and unexpected short-notice absences. You work where the need is for the day, which means you get the opportunity to get to know several operations, colleagues, and users.

The work is varied and requires that you can quickly familiarize yourself with different situations and contribute with security, knowledge, and professional interaction. At the same time, it gives you broad experience and the opportunity to develop your competence in several operational areas.

Shift work may include days, evenings, and nights.

Your profile

We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant (undersköterska) and preferably have experience working within elderly care and/or LSS. A valid B-class driver's license is required for the position as travel between and within operations may occur.

To thrive in the role, you need to be flexible, responsible, and confident in your professional role. You find it easy to collaborate with different people and can adapt to new workplaces and work groups. At the same time, you are self-reliant and can prioritize and make decisions within the framework of your assignment.

After introduction, you are expected to be able to perform delegated tasks within the various operations of the Social Services Administration.
