About the role

Cloudist is growing and we are now looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who wants to grow with us.

You will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance, stability, and development of our cloud infrastructure by monitoring environments, managing patching and upgrades, and supporting customers with questions and incidents.

You will work closely with our senior architects from day one and gradually develop your competence in virtualization, SDN, and modern cloud platforms.

Core Technologies

Responsibilities

Monitor health and performance in virtualization and cloud infrastructure environments.
Perform patching, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance of the platform.
Identify and implement improvements that increase stability and efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues and escalate when necessary.
Support customers with questions and incidents related to the cloud portal and their infrastructure.
Participate in presales activities, customer demos, and migration projects.
Contribute to and support incoming customer migrations.
Document processes, operational routines, and incident handling.
Collaborate with senior architects on platform development and projects.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience in infrastructure, cloud services, or system administration.
Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware ESXi, vCenter, or equivalent.
Understanding of networking concepts in multi-tenant environments, such as virtual networks, segmentation, and routing within VDC.
Knowledge of virtual firewall rules and basic security principles.
Comfortable working in Linux and CLI-based environments.
Experience with Windows Server, including administration, patching, and basic troubleshooting in virtualized environments.
Understanding of backup and recovery, including backup schedules, storage policies, RPO, RTO, and recovery procedures.
