Your Role

As Maintenance Manager, you are responsible for the maintenance and warehouse functions at Boliden Bergsöe. You lead the team and are responsible for creating the conditions for efficient and safe work.

The role is both strategic and operational – you plan and prioritize daily tasks while driving the development of working methods, processes, and maintenance strategies. You are part of the production management team and report to the Production Manager.

Your Team

You lead a team of approximately ten employees working within both maintenance and warehousing. Work is carried out during day shifts and two-shift rotations. Electrical work is performed by an external supplier, where you coordinate with them and are responsible for the overall result. The work spans several areas such as process equipment, vehicles, buildings, and land, which means great variation in daily life.

As Maintenance Manager, you also receive support from a Team Leader in operational work, while maintaining close collaboration with other functions within the business as well as external suppliers.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead, distribute, and follow up on daily work.
  • Prioritize incoming fault reports and planned work.
  • Drive improvements and development of maintenance processes.
  • Participate in and lead projects within maintenance and facilities.
  • Ensure good inventory management and collaboration with the warehouse function.
  • Actively work with personnel, working environment, safety, and budget follow-up.
  • Collaborate with production and other internal functions as well as external suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Completed upper secondary education.
  • Experience within the industry and mechanical maintenance, with a good understanding of mechanics, pumps, and welding.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Experience working in maintenance systems (preferably Idus).
  • Good competence in reading process drawings and interpreting P&ID diagrams.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English.
  • Valid driver's license (Category B).

It is meritorious if you have post-secondary education in a relevant field, experience in project management and/or purchasing.
