We are now looking for an Electrical Grid Project Engineer who wants to work in a varied role where technology, projects, and collaboration are in focus. Here you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of a robust and future-proofed electricity grid, which is a vital part of society's infrastructure.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Project Engineer, you will become part of an established energy company working to develop and manage local and regional grids. In this role, you are responsible for the engineering design of both new constructions and renovations, where you develop technical solutions and tender documents for various projects. You work closely with contractors, consultants, and internal functions to ensure that projects are carried out according to set requirements, schedules, and current standards.

Furthermore, you participate in inspections and commissioning, and ensure that technical documentation is updated in GIS, CAD, and facility systems. The role involves significant responsibility for ensuring that projects maintain high quality and are executed in accordance with EBR, ESA, and other relevant regulations. You are offered a varied daily routine where you combine technical work with coordination and collaboration, while contributing to the development of a sustainable and reliable electricity grid.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:

  • Hold a university degree or Master of Science in electrical engineering, electronics, or energy systems. Alternatively, you have a vocational higher education (YH) in a relevant field combined with several years of experience.
  • Have experience in engineering design within local or regional grids, or other relevant electrical power activities.
  • Speak and write fluent Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work.
  • Hold a valid driver's license (Category B).

The following are meritorious, but not required:

  • Experience working in accordance with EBR and ESA.
  • Knowledge of GIS, CAD, or other facility systems.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:

This is a consultancy assignment, meaning you will be employed by Friday and work as a consultant at our client's site. The ambition from both the client and our side is that you will become a direct employee of the client.
