Therefore, we are now looking for a new colleague for our office in Helsingborg, namely a power engineer with expertise and experience in substations, switchgear, and project management. Exciting and broad tasks within an expert role Here you will work on many different exciting projects; from the development of large power grids or wind and solar parks, to contributing to improvements for large electricity consumers, for example within the industry. In the role of power engineer here, you are responsible for customer contacts, assignments, and the execution of projects from A to Z, as well as the economic result. Assignments can take place partly from our office, but also on-site at our customers' locations, and vary in length and scope. The assignments will range from investigations/pre-studies to completed facilities, where your role may vary between, for example, project manager, coordination manager, or technical manager. You work proactively from procurement, planning, resource allocation, to driving projects with the customer. You conduct regular check-ins with contractors, suppliers, internal staff, and end customers. Your background and personal qualities To succeed and thrive in the role of power engineer here, you fundamentally have an engineering degree with a focus on power engineering combined with at least 5 years of documented experience in the role of power or power grid engineer with a focus on regional and transmission grids. You have been responsible for larger projects and have experience in independently leading and driving your projects and assignments. You therefore have very good industry knowledge regarding systems, construction, and design within the power sector. For this role, we will place great emphasis on your personal qualities. You have a strong technical interest and possess well-developed business acumen and leadership. Many branches of technology collaborate between our assignments. Therefore, we place great emphasis on teamwork and openness, combined with extensive technical knowledge and expertise. You are confident in taking on the role of expert in relation to the customer. Meritorious is experience in the role of project manager, i.e., being accustomed to leading teams of employees and sub-consultants.
