Your role

We are strengthening our avionics team with a Hardware Engineer. Here you work with advanced avionics computers, taking responsibility throughout the entire lifecycle, from requirements definition and development to flight verification. The avionics computers are central to the aircraft and support both basic functions and advanced tactical systems. In this role, you will gain a deep understanding of the avionics computers' functions and their integration into the aircraft.

In this role, you will focus on:

• Responsibility for avionics computers (technical content, function, and performance)
• Maintenance, management, and further development of existing systems
• Requirements management, verification, and troubleshooting
• Handling and documenting changes to ensure traceability and airworthiness
• Close collaboration with software and systems engineers, suppliers, and production

Your profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with complex systems
• Drives your work forward in a structured and independent manner
• Thrives in collaboration and contributes actively in teams where you together solve complex technical challenges
• Has a relevant university education, for example in data, systems, or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience
• Expresses yourself well in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to the current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
