Your Role

Are you at the beginning of your career in project management and eager to develop in an exciting technical environment? As our operations grow, we are now strengthening our team with project managers. We therefore offer several interesting roles as junior project managers within the Mission Support Equipment business area for the Gripen. The Mission Support Equipment area is responsible for several ground-based support systems aimed at increasing operational capability and ensuring high availability within the Gripen system as a whole.

As a project manager, you will lead the development of the system together with competent teams and experienced technical leaders who support you in the technical aspects. The role provides you with excellent opportunities to grow as a project manager and develop your leadership skills.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Plan and coordinate projects together with development teams and technical leaders.
• Monitor project schedules, economics, and quality.
• Report project status to various stakeholders, both orally and in writing.
• Collaborate with operations regarding short- and long-term resource planning.
• Work closely with other project managers, contract owners, and the customer.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have an interest in project management and have work experience working with software development conducted in a project format, not necessarily as a project manager but as a project member. You are structured, communicative, and thrive with many contact points. You have a desire to develop and are curious about technology and complex systems.

As a person, you are responsible, solution-oriented, and have the ability to build good relationships. You work methodically but are also flexible when conditions change.

We would like you to have:

• Some experience in project management, coordination, or similar roles.
• Good communication skills and feel comfortable leading meetings.
• An interest in technology or a technical educational background.
• Experience with project tools or case management systems is an advantage.
• Experience from product development or technical operations is a plus, but not a requirement.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current security clearance regulations. For some positions, security clearance may entail requirements for specific citizenship.
