We are now looking for a team member for the Process Quality Engineering section.

The Process Quality section is responsible for setting requirements and ensuring compliance with both external and internal standards within its specialist areas.

We conduct industrial qualifications, audits of special processes, and drive continuous improvements related to this. Furthermore, the section is responsible for technical areas such as non-destructive testing and welding, and provides competence and resources for our measurement equipment at Saab.

Your Role

In this role, you will plan, execute, and close out industrial qualifications within special processes, both with suppliers and within Saab's own production units. You will become part of a team together with our Special Process Managers and Special Process Audit Leaders, where you work closely together and support each other in both strategic and operational matters.

The team is characterized by collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a strong desire to develop together. Together, you have overall responsibility for the delivery and contribute with both technical competence and practical execution. The role also offers good opportunities to develop into an auditor within special processes in the long term.

You will have a unique opportunity to influence and develop both your own area of responsibility and the section's future way of working. The role involves many interfaces within Aeronautics and the Saab Group, as well as collaboration with international suppliers and operations. Travel within and outside Europe is a natural part of the job.

Examples of tasks:

  • Plan industrial qualifications in close collaboration with, among others, Industrialization, Purchasing, and Production.
  • Conduct qualifications with suppliers and within Saab's own production units, and drive follow-up of identified actions.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of working methods for planning, prioritization, and execution.
  • Develop and strengthen collaborations and interfaces within Aeronautics and Saab Group.
  • Provide specialist knowledge and support in matters related to special processes.

Together, the team creates a strong whole where collaboration, knowledge exchange, and shared responsibility are crucial for achieving success and ensuring delivery.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who thrive in a role with many interfaces and who sees the value in good collaboration. You are a team player who gladly supports your colleagues and who finds it easy to navigate between different interfaces, both internally and externally. Since the role involves collaboration with colleagues and suppliers, both nationally and internationally, you are relationship-building and comfortable in different contexts.

The role involves travel to suppliers and participation in digital meetings, which requires that you are communicative and enjoy building and developing professional relationships.

As a person, you are unpretentious, curious, and confident in collaborating with experienced specialists and experts. You have high integrity and a good ability to balance constructive collaboration with ensuring that requirements, regulations, and processes are followed. You are also clear in your communication and can present ideas, conclusions, and recommendations in a simple and pedagogical way. Furthermore, you have the ability to independently create new networks and build long-term relationships.

We believe you have:

  • Relevant work experience or an academic degree in a field suitable for the role.
  • Experience in production quality or special processes, as well as understanding of technical requirements, standards, and regulations.
  • Good ability to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Experience in auditing is meritorious, but not a requirement.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to the security clearance regulations in effect at any given time. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.

What you will become part of

Discover endless possibilities. Take on challenges, create smart innovations, and upgrade your skills. This is a place for clever thinkers, brave pioneers, and everyone in between. Together we achieve the extraordinary, each bringing their unique perspective. Every contribution counts.
