Your role

The avionics area is growing, and we are looking for an engineer with an interest in configuration management, documentation, and quality to join the development of the Gripen. In this role, you work close to the technology and are responsible for ensuring structure, traceability, and quality throughout the entire development chain. You are part of the development team working with avionics hardware, while ensuring that our established working methods, processes, and requirements are followed. You contribute to ensuring that systems maintain high quality and meet requirements before verification and flight.

This role suits you if you want to combine technical work with responsibility for order, clarity, and quality in complex systems.

In the role, you will focus on:

• Avionics hardware in development and maintenance
• Ensuring that documentation in our projects maintains high quality
• Managing and documenting changes to ensure traceability and airworthiness
• Supporting the team with issues related to structure, documentation, and quality

Your profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with configuration management, documentation, and/or quality in complex systems
• Drives their work forward in a structured and independent manner
• Thrives in collaboration and actively contributes in teams where you solve complex technical challenges together
• Has a relevant university degree, for example in quality, systems, or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience
• Communicates well in both Swedish and English, orally and in writing

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the security clearance regulations in force at any given time. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
