Information about the position
Professionals Nord, in collaboration with Axentia, is looking for a Technical Coordinator. Axentia is a leading supplier of systems and hardware for information displays to operators in the public transport sector. The company is in a continued growth phase and works with customers both in Sweden and internationally. The role is based at the headquarters in Linköping and is part of the Support and Service team.
This assignment is part of our personnel rental service. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at Axentia for 6 months. The intention is that you will eventually be hired directly by them, provided all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.
Responsibilities
As a Customer Software Engineer at Axentia, you work with technical support while being responsible for the entire workflow regarding software and firmware updates for field-deployed displays. The role involves analyzing technical issues, driving improvements, and planning updates in close collaboration with development, product, and support teams.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Troubleshooting and analyzing complex software-related issues as well as some hardware issues
- Being responsible for software and firmware updates as well as the entire release workflow
- Planning and communicating updates and schedules with customers, creating release notes, and ensuring correct delivery
- Collaborating with development and other departments to drive solutions forward
- Reporting and participating in quality investigations and following up on any improvement measures
- Supporting the support and service team in related tasks
We are looking for someone who has:
- Post-secondary education in IT, data, programming, or equivalent relevant work experience
- A few years of experience in IT, support, operations, system administration, or similar technical roles
- Experience in coordinating, planning, or executing releases, production deployments, deployments, or changes in software environments
- Basic Linux knowledge
- Knowledge in backend programming and databases
- Basic understanding of electronics, circuit theory, or hardware – even at a hobby level
- Good knowledge of Windows and Office
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
It is an advantage if you have previous experience in support work or customer-facing technical roles.
