We are currently seeing increased demand from our clients within Procurement & Supply Chain and are looking for an Operational Buyer for an exciting consulting assignment in Southwestern Stockholm, starting in August.

This is an excellent opportunity for you who have recently graduated and have 1–2 years of experience and want to develop within operational procurement, or for you who have already worked for several years with item information and master data and enjoy these tasks.

About the assignment

In this role, you will work to ensure quality and structure in the company's item and spare parts data. Your main responsibilities will be:

• Manage and structure BOM (Bill of Material) and ensure that information is linked to the correct objects.
• Create, update, and maintain item masters with correct and uniform item information.
• Register new items, link suppliers, identify alternative suppliers (second source), and enter consumables into the Visma system.
• Ensure high data quality by identifying and correcting errors, duplicates, and missing items, and collecting relevant documentation as needed.

We are looking for you who

• Have a degree in procurement (Vocational Higher Education or University) and approximately 1–2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain.
• Have experience working with master data or item registers.
• Have good knowledge of the Office package and Excel.
• Have good proficiency in Swedish and English.
• Experience working in the business system Visma is an advantage.

Scope and location

• Employment: You will be employed as a consultant through us at The Place.
• Start: August 2026, lasting for 3 months or longer.
• Location: Southwestern Stockholm, approx. 20-30 minutes public transport from central Stockholm.
