We are now looking for a Cost Estimator for our construction operations in Östergötland. As a Cost Estimator at Svevia, you manage the costing process from request for proposals to finished bid proposals in our construction projects. You work both independently and in teams, especially on larger projects. The role is broad and includes everything from time and cost estimation to planning, follow-up, purchasing, as well as assessing risks and opportunities.

You play a key role in contributing to development and innovation by staying updated on technologies, prices, and alternative methods and materials. You collaborate closely with purchasers, project managers, and site managers, becoming part of a competent team. You report to the Operations Manager.

With your structured and planning skills, you take responsibility for your tasks and drive them forward with precision. You are analytical and solution-oriented, which allows you to quickly identify opportunities and handle challenges effectively.

We would appreciate if you have the following experience and prerequisites:

• A few years of experience in a role as a cost estimator/cost engineer

• Experience with request for proposals and bidding work within construction and infrastructure projects

• Knowledge of AMA/MER Construction, contract law, LOU (Public Procurement Act), and MAP

• Valid driver's license (Category B)

• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
