To our sterile processing unit on the operating department at Lindesberg Hospital, we are now looking for a sterile processing technician/nursing assistant.

We are looking for an employee who is passionate about their work and wants to continue developing with us. You will become part of a secure work team where we support and stand by each other. We work in close collaboration with the operating department. You are meticulous and have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work efficiently, and you can also work independently. We offer stimulating and qualified work.

As an employee within the sterile processing unit, you work with the sterile handling of medical technology products. The work involves preparing operating equipment for surgeries in the form of cleaning, instrument care, functional checks, packing, sterilization of equipment, and monitoring disinfection and sterilization processes. We work with the traceability system T-DOC. We serve the operating department, the hospital's wards and clinics, as well as the health centers in the northern part of the county with sterile instruments.

We welcome you who are trained as a sterile processing technician or nursing assistant, preferably with a focus on emergency care according to the previous program structure, or are trained as a nursing assistant within the current program structure. To assess employability, grades from your healthcare education and proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare regarding the protected professional title must be attached to your application.
