Bodens Municipality has a vibrant association life and offers many opportunities for an active leisure time. Our maintenance unit within the Culture, Leisure, and Youth Department is responsible for the operation and maintenance of sports facilities, jogging tracks, and bathing areas.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of Sports Ground Maintenance Worker, you become part of our maintenance unit responsible for the municipality's sports facilities. The unit's mission is to provide good service to everyone operating in our facilities.

The duties include the operation, care, and maintenance of the facilities we are responsible for. The position also involves driving vehicles and machinery, such as ice resurfacers and tractors, as well as performing repairs and maintenance on materials and equipment. An important part of the role is also to create and maintain good relationships with those who use the facilities.

The positions are located within the Maintenance Unit North/South and include work in the ice hall, sports halls, and artificial turf fields. If needed, you may also work at other facilities within our operations. We offer hourly employment as needed, with start dates in the autumn or as agreed. The work involves evening and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• High school diploma
• Category B driver's license

Merits include:

• Category C driver's license
• Experience with tractors
• Experience working with sports facilities or associations
• Interest in sports and association activities

As a person, you are service-oriented, able to work independently, and responsible. You are helpful and comfortable with varying tasks and changing work environments. You are preferably practical and have a knack for repair and maintenance.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 3–6 months, Start date: Autumn or as agreed.
