At the HR department in Södertälje Municipality, over forty employees work to provide support in employer-related matters to the municipality's operations. Do you want to help develop the future of HR at Södertälje Municipality?

We are now looking for a System Administrator who wants to contribute to quality, efficiency, and development in an organization where digitalization and information security are highly prioritized.

Your Responsibilities

As a System Administrator, you work at the interface between operations, payroll, finance, and IT.

You will:

  • Administer, coordinate, and develop our systems and continuity planning for the HR object (including Visma Personec P, Timecare, WinLas, Learnifier, etc.).
  • Work according to the management model PM3 and participate in the introduction of new working methods and systems.
  • Plan and carry out processing, testing, and adjustments of systems.
  • Work with follow-up, analysis, and quality assurance of the payroll process, including control of payroll results, output data, and connection to financial flows.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, both internally and in dialogue with suppliers.
  • Suggest and drive improvements based on operational needs.
  • Participate in development projects and user forums.
  • Contribute to requirement specification and expert support during the procurement of new systems, in close collaboration with the Management Leader (FL) and FL-IT, to ensure that solutions meet operational needs, technical guidelines, and quality requirements.
  • Monitor and follow up on information security requirements within the administration together with FL/FL-IT, including ensuring that systems and processes are in line with current legislation, internal policies, and established security standards.
  • Collaborate closely with payroll specialists, management leaders, IT, and other colleagues to ensure that news and important information reach out in the organization.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a system administrator in complex HR and payroll systems.
  • Experience with payroll processes and quality assurance of payroll output data.
  • Experience with follow-up, analysis, or controls related to payroll and finance.
  • University education in systems science or equivalent, or other post-secondary education that the employer considers relevant.
  • Good knowledge of the Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and applications belonging to Microsoft 365.
  • Good understanding of ITIL or similar frameworks, PM3, or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
