We are now looking for a Data Scientist to join our Savings Performance team within the Investment Center. Here, you will play a central role in analyzing and developing the Savings business by combining data modeling, analysis, and clear communication of insights.
At Swedbank, you will have the opportunity to:- Work end-to-end with data – from needs identification and data collection to modeling, analysis, and visualization.
- Analyze and monitor the Savings business from a product, customer, and organizational perspective.
- Identify patterns in data and translate them into concrete, business-relevant recommendations.
- Create decision support materials and present insights to management and other senior stakeholders.
- Contribute to and further develop data models that enable better monitoring and control of the business.
- Develop and enhance dashboards and applications in Power BI and Qlik that support analysis and decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to drive data-driven initiatives.
Basic requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience working as a Data Scientist, analyst, or similar role, with a focus on deriving insights from data.
- Strong experience with SQL and working with large datasets.
- Experience with Python or similar tools for data analysis.
- Experience with data modeling and visualization in BI tools (e.g., Power BI or Qlik).
- Experience working with the entire analysis process – from data to insight and presentation.
- Good ability to communicate complex relationships in a clear and pedagogical manner.
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Resident in Sweden, with placement in Stockholm and surrounding areas.
- Relevant academic education (e.g., statistics, economics, computer science, or mathematics).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in banking or financial services.
- Knowledge of savings, pensions, or insurance.
- Ability to share knowledge and contribute to the team's competence development.
- Experience working closely with the business and translating analysis into concrete recommendations.
