Motivated accountant aiming for a future Financial Manager role

Do you want to take overall responsibility for the finances in a growing consultancy firm focused on municipal operations, while simultaneously having the opportunity to develop into a Financial Manager?

You will gradually take on increasing responsibility for finance, control, and follow-up. During this journey, you will receive support from senior resources and management to develop both your financial and business competencies. The goal is for you to take overarching responsibility for the company's finances and financial control within a few years.

This is a unique opportunity for you who thrive on combining operational work with business-oriented analysis and want to influence the development in a company with strong growth and high ambitions. As an accountant at our Halmstad office, you will have broad and operationally close responsibilities.

Your main tasks include, among other things:

• Continuous accounting and bookkeeping
• Customer and supplier ledgers
• Invoicing and payment processing
• Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Budgeting, forecasting, and financial follow-up
• Payroll administration
• Tax and VAT reporting

The role involves close collaboration with the company's management and operational heads.

We are looking for someone who is business-minded, structured, and unpretentious. You enjoy taking responsibility, working independently, and being a natural collaborator with colleagues and management.

We see that you have:

• An academic education in economics or equivalent
• A few years of experience in qualified accounting work
• Experience with accounting, financial statements, and financial follow-up
• Good system proficiency and an interest in digitalization and efficiency
• Very good Excel skills
• Ability to translate financial analyses into clear decision-making support

Experience from consultancy, service companies, or independent accounting work is considered an asset.
