Renta is establishing a new depot within SSAB in Luleå and is now looking for an engaged Mechanic to join our team! Are you a technically skilled and solution-oriented person who enjoys screwing, troubleshooting, and getting machines to perform at their best? Then this might be the role for you!

Your responsibilities:

• Perform repairs, service, and maintenance on various types of rental machinery.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose both mechanical and electrical systems, as well as work with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Use both digital and analog diagnostic tools to quickly identify and resolve technical issues.
• Check the machine's external and internal functions, including engine status, battery, hydraulic system, and much more.
• Ensure that the machines are in top condition before being sent to the customer.
• Document work in Renta's administrative system to handle work orders.

Renta's customers build everything imaginable with their machines. Sometimes they come back whole, sometimes not. What they always need, however, is a little care and attention. You receive, assess the condition of the machines, and service and repair them, sometimes even urgently out in the field. You also help with setups and support the rest of the depot, from renters to distributors. We help each other, because building is a team sport.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A workshop background.
• A positive attitude, is outgoing, and service-minded.
• Good technical knowledge in both mechanics and electronics, preferably with experience in machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Good computer skills, as you will work in various quotation and order management systems.
• A Category B driver's license is required.
• Ability to work independently, be flexible, and take great responsibility.

Merits:

• BE or B96 license and forklift certification are meritorious.
• Experience working with lifts, forklifts, or other large machinery.
• Certificate for hot work.
• Experience with diesel engines.
• Knowledge in hydraulics, electricity, and troubleshooting.
• Welding skills.
