Do you want to lead technology-intensive projects that make a difference for Sweden's defense capability? As a Senior Project Manager at Combitech in Arboga, you are responsible for one of our defense industry projects within tactical data links, where you drive projects from idea to delivery in close collaboration with the customer and other stakeholders. Your role as a Senior Project Manager in the defense industry

In the role of Project Manager, you are responsible for leading and driving complex projects throughout their entire lifecycle. You plan, organize, and lead project teams based on customer requirements and ensure that deliveries are carried out according to set goals for time, cost, and quality. Together with the customer, you contribute to shaping future solutions and visions for the projects, while simultaneously identifying and managing risks, dependencies, and changes along the way.

As a Project Manager with us, you will have many contact areas, primarily with FMV (Swedish Defence Materiel Administration), the Swedish Armed Forces, and the defense industry, but also international contacts. The area of work is complex with systems from many different suppliers, where high security and availability requirements exist with integrations between systems and network equipment. Here you will lead and be responsible for ensuring that the system solution meets the high demands from FMV and the Swedish Armed Forces, as the systems must function in peace, as well as in crisis and war.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are an experienced Project Manager with the ability to drive complex projects from start to finish. You have good collaboration skills and a great commitment to easily building good relationships with both employees and customers. At the same time, you can solve problems independently and work strategically towards set goals and results. We see that you have business acumen in focus and value creativity. To succeed, an analytical mind, the ability to see the big picture, good judgment, and good initiative are also required. Great importance will be placed on your personal qualities.

We see that you have a university degree or equivalent experience in the technology or engineering field, as well as at least 5 years of experience in project management. A category B driver's license is a requirement for the position, and you command both Swedish and English well in both speech and writing.

It is meritorious if you have experience of project management within the defense sector or defense industry, change management, agile ways of working, and work in security-critical or regulatory environments. Project management certification, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent, is also meritorious. We also view positively experience within Data/IT, system development, and technical understanding of complex systems and system design.

Since the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, it is required that you undergo and pass a security clearance with register check.
