We are currently looking for a Service Technician for our depot in Täby. As a Service Technician at HLL, you are a vital part of our operations, ensuring that our depots have well-functioning machinery and tools for rental.

About the Service Technician Role

As a Service Technician, you are responsible for the return handling, reconditioning, and servicing of construction and handheld machinery. This involves troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance to ensure the machinery's functionality and safety. In addition to managing our fleet, you are also responsible for the yard to ensure we always have an easily accessible and seasonally adapted assortment for our customers. You assist with loading and unloading machinery and accessories, and travel to customer projects when needed to deliver machinery or provide on-site support. Part of the role also involves customer contact via phone, email, and in-person meetings – therefore, it is important that you find customer interaction and relationship building rewarding.

Qualifications

• Experience in service or workshop work, preferably within machinery or vehicles
• Technical understanding and practical experience in troubleshooting and maintenance
• Forklift license
• Ability to handle tools and perform simple spare part replacements
• Good computer skills for service administration
• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

Meritorious

• Previous professional experience in demolition/cleanup, reconditioning, or tire changing roles
• Heavy vehicle driver's license (Category BE)
• Training and certification in Fall Protection, Safe Lifting, Scaffolding, and Lifts
• Electrical knowledge in the form of certifications or training
