Scania Industrial Maintenance AB is a technical production support company that is part of Scania CV AB. About the role

We are now looking for a driven and engaged maintenance technician with knowledge of electrical and automation systems, as well as mechanical skills, to join our maintenance group at Scania Industrial Maintenance. This group is responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of production equipment for battery manufacturing in our state-of-the-art battery factory in Södertälje. The equipment includes advanced conveyor systems and portals, numerous robots, ATV forklifts, etc.

Your main responsibilities

Your main responsibility is to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the machinery. As a maintenance technician, you will work on problem-solving and identify and contribute to necessary improvements on machines. You will be responsible for and contribute to:

• Conducting root cause analyses and problem-solving.
• Processing orders in consultation with planners.
• Reporting in the maintenance system.
• Participating in cross-functional meetings.

As a maintenance technician, you will have daily contact with the operations. You will have a job that is independent and varied with changing challenges. You will execute the maintenance plan and work with reactive maintenance in connection with problems on machines and equipment.

Who are you?

We are looking for a solution-oriented, structured, and responsible maintenance technician with a good ability to collaborate with others. To succeed in the role, you have the ability to work both independently and in a team. You see no obstacles in working at a high pace and view problem-solving as a challenge.

We also look for you to have:

• A relevant technical education, upper secondary or higher.
• Alternatively, equivalent professional experience.
• Good knowledge of Swedish (minimum C1 level) and English in both speech and writing.
• Experience with maintenance systems, preferably Maximo which we use.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC systems, preferably Siemens Step 7 and TIA Portal.

We view it as positive if you have previous experience in maintenance. Since Scania's production operates around the clock, you have no problem working shifts.

The position is full-time and permanent, located in Södertälje.

The work is currently conducted on two shifts, but this may change with altered sales volumes.
