Scania Industrial Maintenance AB is a technical production support company that is part of Scania CV AB. We offer a wide range of services within industrial projects and are responsible for production and facility maintenance within Scania. About the Role
As a Maintenance Specialist at Scania IM’s battery production, you will have advanced competence and experience in mechatronics, electrical engineering, and automation. You will be responsible for a production unit with a focus on improving preventive maintenance of production equipment or technical areas. As a Maintenance Specialist, you will work closely with production, and your role includes training and educating less experienced maintenance technicians and operators during maintenance tasks. Your duties are both operational and administrative. Currently, we are also working on connecting machines to a database and building a dashboard for monitoring.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Drive analytical troubleshooting
- Educate and train maintenance technicians
- Participate in troubleshooting with deep expertise
- Participate in inspections for statutory tasks
- Drive root cause analysis work after stoppages
Who Are You?
We are looking for a driven, collaborative, self-motivated, and responsible Maintenance Specialist with an interest in improvement work and problem-solving. Very good knowledge of mechatronics, electrical engineering, and automation is required. Great emphasis is placed on basic technical competence, logical troubleshooting, and drive. It is a plus if you have experience with deeper troubleshooting within PLC (TIA Portal) and industrial networks, as well as the maintenance system Maximo. Experience as a shift leader or Team Leader is desirable.
- A technical education at the upper secondary level
- Experience as a maintenance technician with automated equipment
- High technical competence within Scania’s production equipment
- Good knowledge of PEIP and TFP
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Good knowledge of PLC (PLC)
- Valid driver’s license (Category B)
