Project Manager / Design Manager at Norconsult

The Project & Construction Management department consists of three groups based in Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö. The teams currently comprise between 6 and 8 employees with varied experience and specialist knowledge, creating a good collaborative climate. We wish to expand the teams to strengthen our local presence, as well as build further with key personnel who can, among other things, lead our largest general consultancy assignments.

Our customers are both public and private, at all stages. We preferably drive the project from early concept to finished building, preferably together with more colleagues.

We want to expand the department with you who work as Project Manager and Design Manager as this is our main business, but we also offer services such as construction management, BAS-P, control responsibility, and cost estimation.

Your Profile

We are looking for both you who have 5 years of experience, and you who have 10 years of experience in the role of Project Manager and Design Manager for construction and property projects.

You have a strong commitment, a natural drive, and a willingness to take responsibility for both assignments and people. As a person, you are best described as proactive, solution-oriented, and having the ability to see opportunities where others see challenges. You thrive in social settings, build trusting relationships, and actively contribute to the development of both the team and the business.

Coaching, supporting, and developing colleagues is something you see as a natural part of your leadership. You combine a strategic perspective with an egalitarian approach and enjoy sharing your experience.

To succeed in the role, you need:

• at least a university degree in engineering or experience assessed as equivalent.
• at least 5 or 10 years of experience in construction project management/design management.
• the ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

We also consider it meritorious with one or more of the following:

• BAS-P/U
• Good knowledge of contract law
• Cost estimation
• KA-K qualification

Furthermore, you have an established customer network and understand the value of long-term relationships and business development. You are accustomed to leading and coordinating others, creating structure in assignments, and ensuring that resources are used efficiently.

For you with +10 years of experience, we also see that you have a genuine interest in supporting, coaching, and developing younger colleagues, as well as contributing your experience to the continued development of the business. You are comfortable representing the business in steering groups and other strategic forums.
