The Swedish Fortification Administration is seeking an Investment Manager for Stockholm. As an Investment Manager in the Projects Department, you will work with financial management, monitoring, and reporting of our investment projects. Help lay the foundation for Sweden's defense

In a turbulent world, we have a clear focus: building Sweden's defense capability from the ground up. The Swedish Fortification Administration is a government agency tasked with providing secure properties to defense-related agencies. We own and manage our unique and extensive property portfolio located throughout Sweden, as well as building new facilities when our tenants need them.

The Projects Unit is responsible for the implementation of construction and infrastructure projects, with project managers leading and coordinating the work in the construction process from the early stages to handover to management and the customer.

As an Investment Manager, you will play a key role in your project unit and will work closely with the unit manager, project managers, and other support functions within the agency. In addition to ensuring sound financial management and monitoring, the role serves as a support to the operations. Through a service-oriented approach, you will provide advice and guidance to create the conditions for well-founded decisions and successful projects. The role also involves close collaboration and experience sharing with other Investment Managers within the agency. The position involves travel within Sweden as the Swedish Fortification Administration operates nationwide.

Key Responsibilities as Investment Manager:

• Support the projects' budgeting and forecasting work in close collaboration with project managers, and assess the reasonableness of project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Be responsible for planning, coordination, monitoring, and reporting within the unit, and support the unit manager and project managers with analyses and monitoring of the project portfolio.
• Review and compile materials for investment decisions, and support the early stages of investment projects.
• Lead the development, analysis, and compilation of forecasts within the unit, and ensure that processes, common working methods, and routines are followed.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have

• A university or college degree with a focus on economics, property management, or construction.
• Several years of experience working with budgets, investigations, and reporting, primarily related to projects in construction and management, with a focus on costs, quality, and schedules.
• Extensive experience working with IT system support.
• Good administrative skills.
• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Class B driver's license.

It is meritorious if you have

• Further education in construction-related fields.
• Knowledge of property and contract law.
• Knowledge of the Swedish Armed Forces' operations.
• Experience in construction management.
• Experience in fortification activities, primarily within construction and management.

About the Employment

The position is a permanent employment, although a probationary period may apply. As a permanent employee, you will be assigned to wartime duties. The location is Stockholm. Employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security class. Security clearance with register check will be conducted prior to employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
