WORK ASSIGNMENTS

In your role as an assistant nurse, you will work independently but also collaborate with your colleagues in your work team and, if necessary, in nearby work teams to achieve the organization's goals. You will work based on the Social Services Act (SoL) and perform delegated tasks according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL).

The tasks vary depending on the user's need for assistance. You will primarily work with good care, service, and social interaction, but also with documentation, planning, health and medical care tasks, and development work. We travel by car or bicycle between our users.

In the role of assistant nurse, you are flexible and responsible, as your working days involve everything from handling alarms, commitments as a permanent contact person, administering medication according to prescription, daily care and nursing, to sitting down and talking for a while with those in need. Together with your colleagues, you are the key person around the user, and you work together to create a good life for the individual.

You also serve as the permanent contact person during welcome conversations, draw up and update implementation plans, have contact with relatives and other professions, and document according to current legislation in our operational system.

There has also been significant development in digitalization for home care services in recent years, and we work predominantly through our work mobile phones. In the phone, staff can see their daily schedule, sign for medications, and document important events in our journal system.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who:

• are a trained assistant nurse with a protected professional title
• are well-versed in digital platforms, following the workplace's action plans, policies, and guidelines, as well as the Social Services Act paragraph SoL §1:1
• hold a B driving license

Previous experience in elderly care or other experience within healthcare is meritorious but not a requirement.

You are secure and professional in your professional role and have the ability to adapt based on the care recipient's needs and changed circumstances. For you, good treatment is a matter of course, and you easily create trusting relationships. You enjoy collaborating and contribute to a positive work climate together with your colleagues.
