Are you a specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry looking for a workplace with close collaboration, good structure, and engaged colleagues?
Here is an opportunity to work at a well-organized Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP) clinic in Central Sweden, located in a safe and nature-friendly urban environment with easy access to lakes, forests, and larger cities.
About the Role
The clinic is part of the county's Child and Adolescent Psychiatry services and treats patients aged 6–18. You will work with children and adolescents presenting with conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, autism, bipolar disorder, and other comorbidities. The work involves assessments, investigations, treatments, and acute interventions during daytime hours.
The team is multidisciplinary, consisting of psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, social workers, and other professional groups. The unit operates with well-functioning routines and close collaboration with other clinics in the county, including inpatient care and eating disorder services.
Your Responsibilities
- As a specialist, you will handle both scheduled and acute patient cases.
- You will typically have 4–5 patient consultations per day, often in collaboration with other professional categories.
- After the introductory period, weekend day duty (approx. every 8th weekend) may be included. No night shifts.
- Opportunities to participate in collegial meetings, supervision, and development work within the unit.
We are looking for someone who
- Hold a specialist certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Has at least 3 years of experience as a specialist to work independently.
- Is self-motivated, humble, and interested in families and children in various psychiatric contexts.
- Has strong collaborative skills and wishes to contribute to the continued development of the unit.
We offer
- A personal clinic environment with short decision-making paths and a strong team spirit.
- Experienced colleagues and access to supervision.
- Involvement in the development of new working methods and digital solutions.
- A nature-friendly living environment with a high quality of life, while larger cities are within reach.
Conditions
- Permanent full-time employment.
- Working hours Monday–Friday during daytime, with flexible hours.
- Start date according to agreement.
