Are you a radiology specialist looking to combine stimulating work with a high quality of life in a scenic part of Sweden?

About the Department

The Radiology Department is part of the Imaging and Functional Medicine unit and performs approximately 24,000 diagnostic examinations annually. The equipment includes two ultrasound machines, one MRI, one CT scanner, and two conventional X-ray units, one of which features fluoroscopy capabilities. Both planned and emergency diagnostics are conducted in functional and modern facilities.

You will join a team of experienced radiologists, radiographers, assistant nurses, and administrative staff. Physician turnover has been very low in recent years, reflecting a stable working environment. Over the next few years, plans are in place for both facility renovations and equipment upgrades.

Responsibilities

  • General radiology including conventional X-ray, ultrasound, and CT.
  • Emergency and planned operations.
  • Close collaboration with other specialties.
  • Opportunity for on-call/standby duties, but not mandatory.

Qualifications

  • Specialist certification in Radiology.
  • Experience with ultrasound, CT, and emergency services.
  • Knowledge of fluoroscopy and nephrostomy exchanges is an advantage.

Working Hours and Conditions

  • Daytime hours, Monday to Friday.
  • On-call and standby duties are primarily organized from nearby hospitals.
  • Permanent position with individual salary determination.
