Health Centre Centrum in Landskrona is a developing health center with approximately 13,000 registered patients, making us one of the largest health centers in Skåne. Here, an engaged cross-professional team works, consisting of specialist doctors, ST-doctors, nurses, assistant nurses, social workers, psychiatric nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and dietitians. Three special housing facilities are also linked to the health center, providing good opportunities for continuity and close work with elderly patients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a specialist doctor in geriatrics, you will have an important role in the development of our elderly care clinic and the work regarding the elderly patient in primary care. You work with a holistic perspective on the aging individual and contribute with assessments of physical, mental, and cognitive health, as well as functional capacity and care needs.

The work involves long-term patient contacts where you, together with other professions, work preventively and person-centered to promote health, preserved function, and quality of life. You are also involved in preventing the need for acute interventions and hospital admissions through early and coordinated care efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed doctor with specialist competence in geriatrics and eligibility to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are a requirement.

We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in elderly care and who thrive working both independently and in close collaboration with other professions. You have a person-centered approach and see the value of continuity and long-term patient relationships.
