WORK RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you a calm and empathetic occupational therapist with a heart for social psychiatry? Do you want to be a safe, welcoming presence for people with mental disabilities and contribute to meaningful days through creativity and community?

At the Individual and Family Administration in Landskrona, you work in an environment characterized by openness, care, and a genuine non-judgmental approach. Here, you have the opportunity to make a difference every day.

Your main work tasks include:

• Planning and conducting social and creative activities, such as painting, handicrafts, gardening, baking, etc., all based on the participants' needs and abilities.
• Assessing and following up on participants' activity capacity and well-being.
• Contributing to a welcoming and safe environment in the daily work of the activity.
• Collaborating with colleagues and potential external actors regarding the participants.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is secure, sensitive, and humble in meetings with people with complex mental disabilities. You have the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere and carry a genuine commitment to the participants' daily lives. Your creative side will come in handy in the activities that form the core of the operation. You enjoy working closely with people and understand the value of long-term, trusting relationships.

Requirements for the position are:

• Licensed occupational therapist.
• Experience of working within social psychiatry or with people with mental disabilities.
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to lead group activities with a creative focus.

Merits for the position are:

• Experience of collaboration with psychiatry or social services.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
