In this role, you work with the development, management, and integration of communication systems and network solutions in a technically advanced environment. You are involved throughout the entire lifecycle, from analysis and development to commissioning, further development, and long-term management. The focus is on creating robust holistic solutions for airborne and ground-based applications where reliability, quality, and system collaboration are crucial.

You will become part of a team with specialists and project managers and work closely with both colleagues and the customer to drive solutions forward. Here you get a broad and varied role where you combine technical depth with practical system understanding and get the opportunity to influence solutions from idea to functioning delivery.

• You develop new communication systems for airborne and ground-based environments.
• You further develop and manage existing communication systems with a focus on function, stability, and quality.
• You analyze and interpret specifications as the basis for system development and technical choices.
• You produce technical documentation and reports that support both development and management.
• You design technical solution proposals and present them clearly to the customer.
• You drive commissioning and contribute with technical support in close connection to delivery.
• You integrate different systems and ensure that the whole works well in the intended environment.
• You collaborate with specialists and project managers to create well-balanced and sustainable solutions.

• University degree in Computer Science, Network Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with networks and communication.
• Knowledge of radio systems.
• Experience with Cisco routers and switches.
• Experience with VoIP and Cisco CUCM.
• Knowledge within IT security.
• Experience with customization and integration of different systems.
• Ability to produce technical documentation and work based on specifications.

• Knowledge of FMV communication systems.
• Experience with complex computer networks.
• Experience with network administration and network monitoring.
• Knowledge of Linux.
• Ability to read and understand code.
• Experience with training and supervision.
