About the Role

What you will do for us

• Register incoming samples according to given instructions
• Analyze samples using techniques such as manual bacterial culture, ELISA, PCR, and FTIR
• Evaluate and validate analysis results according to customer and legal requirements
• Work according to method descriptions and ensure that hygienic regulations are followed
• Perform maintenance and service of laboratory instruments
• Participate in Lean work and contribute to improvement initiatives

You will become part of the Milk department, which consists of approximately 16 employees, divided into three groups: Milk Assessment, Milk Control, and Veterinary Medicine. This position is primarily located within Veterinary Medicine, where we perform parasite analyses for sheep and horses to help animal owners ensure good animal health and reduce the risk of parasite-related diseases.

Requirements

Who are you applying as?

We are looking for you who have:

• Relevant post-secondary natural science education, preferably the Biomedical Laboratory Science program, Molecular Biology, or equivalent, preferably with a focus on DNA/PCR
• Experience with PCR and/or DNA techniques is a requirement, with practical experience in PCR analyses being an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Basic knowledge of English

Additional Information

The position is a full-time permanent employment with a probationary period. The work takes place during daytime hours with scheduled weekend work, located in Jönköping. Start date by agreement.
