Unfortunately, one of our skilled assistants is leaving, and we need to strengthen our team. The position is with a cheerful and active man in Eksjö who requires assistance around the clock. We are looking for you who understand the importance of good cooperation with the customer, colleagues, and us as the service provider. Working in this group means that your workplace is wherever the customer is. We are looking for you who want to become a reliable and valuable assistant and colleague. We work according to daily routines and documentation. The daily work consists of supporting the customer with tasks they cannot do themselves. As an assistant, you need to be helpful with basic needs, such as feeding, dressing and undressing, communication, and personal hygiene. The work also includes accompanying the customer to various activities, such as day center activities, as well as other activities the customer wishes to do. We offer friendly colleagues and a customer who truly appreciates their assistants.

Working with the customer gives you a varied and stimulating job, but the work is also responsible, and it is important that routines are followed. Being able to set boundaries is a requirement. We would like the assistants here to have a positive and easy-going attitude. A positive and resourceful problem solver who sees solutions instead of problems – that is what we need!

The Assistant's Role and Experience

As a person, you need to be careful, responsible, sensitive, proactive, and positive.

You will receive individualized introduction/training in all parts regarding the customer's need for help and routines. You need to be flexible regarding working hours because we in the work group cover each other's shifts if someone gets sick – we support our customer and each other. You should not be allergic to fur-bearing animals as there is a dog in the home.

Meritorious Experience

• Experience from work within healthcare/care.
• Swedish in speech and writing.
• Knowledge of sign language or a desire to learn.
• Category B driver's license.
• Good swimming skills.

Working Hours/Employment Degree

• Fixed schedule, approx. 30 hours/week.
• One weekend per month.
• Extra hours as needed during the regular assistant's sick leave and vacation.

About Salary

• We apply salary according to Fremia Collective Agreement.
