Recruiting Unit

The Air Base Security Company F 21 consists of two air base security platoons, a ground defense platoon, an air defense platoon (formerly known as the countermeasures platoon), and a guard platoon that handles the IBSS task (Ready Defense Force). The company's main tasks are to train and mobilize conscripts, as well as maintain and develop the capability to defend against near-ground air and ground threats.

Main Responsibilities

In the role of Material Handler at the company level, your main responsibilities are to support the company's quartermaster and technical chief in material services. You will also assist the material officers of our platoons. Support is provided both hands-on and in our support systems PRIO and LIFT. Examples of tasks include:

• Supporting the physical handling of material using forklifts, trucks, or wheel loaders.
• Serving as the company command's material officer for unit and consumable materials.
• Managing unit materials in the PRIO and LIFT/L systems.
• Participating in unit exercises focused on material services.

Qualifications

• Completed upper secondary education (high school diploma)
• Category B driver's license
• Good computer skills (Office, Outlook)
• Good administrative ability
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish

Personal Attributes

We are looking for someone who is particularly passionate about logistics in general, and specifically about material and equipment. You should be service-oriented, meticulous, and responsible. You must possess good administrative skills and be accustomed to taking initiative within the scope of your duties. Since our operations vary significantly from week to week, you need to be flexible and prepared for quick changes. You can work both independently and in a group to solve your and others' tasks. A large part of the work will take place in an office environment, but you will also be out in the field during all seasons of the year, which requires both physical and mental strength to cope with weather and wind, both locally at F 21 and in field environments.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability.

Merits

• Completed conscript service, GMU, or GU with a passing grade.
• Work experience in logistics.
• Familiarity with the Swedish Armed Forces' materials and logistics services.
• Military driver's license.
• Experience with support systems PRIO, LIFT/L, and RSF.

A position with us involves placement in a security class. Swedish citizenship is usually required.
