Are you a subject matter specialist in maintenance and want to use your knowledge to develop others? We are now looking for a training developer with a focus on subject matter expertise in maintenance, who wants to combine the expert role with pedagogical design and production of training for SJ's technical operations.
Your upcoming role In this role, you are the subject responsible and expert in maintenance safety, with a focus on generic technical areas such as electrical engineering, mechanics, and pneumatics. You produce training, both digital and instructor-led, that ensures the right level of competence among our employees in maintenance and depot operations. You are also responsible for translating technical complexity into pedagogically clear, target-group-adapted, and effective training that contributes to real competence development in the business.
You will, among other things:
- Ensure that training content in electricity, mechanics, and pneumatics is correct and up-to-date according to laws and standards
- Produce training, both digital and instructor-led setups
- Be responsible for the pedagogical design of training, including structure, method selection, and learning activities
- Develop and update training materials for basic and advanced training
- Participate in the development of training plans
- Create and further develop training components such as instructor guides, exercises, and knowledge checks
- Lead and quality-assure training production
- Collaborate with operations, teachers, and other experts
- Ensure that training is target-group-adapted and relevant through dialogue with operations and understanding of competence needs
- Contribute to uniform, effective, and quality-assured training

We see that you have:
- A technical background in maintenance/technology
- Knowledge in electrical engineering, mechanics, and/or pneumatics
- Confidence in an expert role within maintenance safety
- Experience in developing target-group-adapted training materials and conveying knowledge
- Good understanding of pedagogy, learning, and how training is designed to create impact in operations
- Ability to translate complex technical information into pedagogically clear and usable training
