Job Description

As a consultant within Defense at AFRY, you will become part of projects that make a difference – for both society and security. Here you will have a dynamic daily routine where your competence is valued and your development is in focus.

We are looking for you who want to work within one or more of the following competency areas:

• Defense Technology (land arena, marine systems, aviation, and command & control systems)
• Systems Engineering (systems work and a holistic perspective on working with technical systems throughout or part of their lifecycle)
• ILS - Integrated Logistics Support
• Defense Logistics and Technical Services
• System Safety and Functional Safety
• IT Security and Information Security

You can work as a technical specialist, generalist, or project manager within any of the above-described competency areas.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with engagement and drive to succeed! Experience as a consultant is meritorious, but your attitude is crucial. To succeed as a consultant with us, you need to have good initiative, collaboration skills, and be good at communicating and taking responsibility for the challenges you face.

We want you to have at least a university degree in engineering and at least several years of professional experience from a technology-related role in defense or defense-related areas. You also have extensive work experience working with system lifecycle processes, including experience with requirements management, requirements verification, and ILS. Since the majority of our customers are the Swedish defense industry and authorities, you should be able to express yourself well in both Swedish and English.

Depending on the assignment, the work is performed either from the office or at the customer's site. Business travel may occur.

Locations: Stockholm/Solna, Enköping, Uppsala, Skövde, Karlskoga, Malmö, and Örnsköldsvik

Security Clearance & Education Verification

Our assignments are varied and many are within security-classified areas, which means you may need to undergo a security clearance before starting with us. Swedish citizenship is a requirement. For all recruitments at AFRY, an ID check, reference checks, and education verification are always conducted as a baseline before employment.
