Mycronic is a global high-tech company that has been driving the electronics industry forward for over 50 years. We continue to grow and support customers across an increasing number of industries, shaping technologies that define tomorrow's society and how we live our lives today – and tomorrow. We are now looking for more people who want to join and strengthen our engaged and driven teams, which are at the forefront of technology. At Mycronic, you will work in an open, flexible, and collaborative environment where you will work closely with leading experts and take on challenging projects that turn ideas into reality and bring tomorrow's electronics to life. Welcome to Mycronic!
About the role
Mycronic develops and manufactures advanced solutions for production within electronics and display manufacturing. Within one of our four divisions, PCB Assembly Solutions, we offer equipment and software for electronics production, both standalone machines and complete production solutions. Our customers typically operate in production environments with a wide product range and small to medium-sized production series.
As a Product Manager, you will become part of a team of five people and report to the Head of Product Management. You will work closely with colleagues in marketing, sales, research and development (R&D), production, supply chain, customer service, application technology, and finance. The role also involves regular contact with customers, suppliers, and distributors. The position is located in Kista, where Mycronic has both offices and production under the same roof.
Responsibilities
You will work in a broad strategic and operational role where you have overall responsibility for one of Mycronic's products within the PCB Assembly Solutions division. You will be responsible for developing the product's long-term growth, profitability, and market position by identifying business opportunities, developing the product strategy, and translating customer and market insights into a clear product roadmap.
Main areas of responsibility:
- Define the product strategy, business plans, and the long-term development of the product portfolio.
- Own and drive the product roadmap, prioritizing development initiatives based on market trends and customer needs.
- Ensure long-term profitability and business results through continuous monitoring of the product's performance, market position, and relevant key performance indicators.
- Lead the product's entire lifecycle – from concept and development to launch, continuous further development, and end-of-life.
- Coordinate work between different functions to ensure clear priorities, well-founded decisions, and effective implementation of the product strategy and development plan.
- Drive go-to-market activities and support the sales and marketing organization with product positioning, customer insights, and competitive analyses.
We are looking for you who
We are looking for someone who combines strong business drive with good technical understanding and who takes clear ownership of your area of responsibility. You are strategic, results-oriented, and skilled at translating customer needs into value-creating product and business decisions. You thrive in cross-functional collaboration, communicate clearly, and build trust both internally and externally.
Furthermore, you have:
- A university or civil engineering degree in industrial economics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or similar.
- Several years of experience in product management, project management, or a similar cross-functional role.
- Experience working in or close to product teams, with documented ability to translate customer and market insights into concrete decisions.
- Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
We consider it meritorious if you have:
- Knowledge of relevant technologies, systems, or standards within SMT, PCBA, or related industries.
- Experience from a manufacturing industrial or technology company.
