Are you an experienced ILS Engineer looking to make a difference for Sweden's security? At Combitech in Stockholm, you will have the opportunity to ensure the technical capability of the Swedish Armed Forces' command and control systems. We are looking for you with expertise in ILS and experience in maintenance work from the defense industry or similar environments such as aviation, rail, nuclear power, or process industry. Join our dedicated team that values an open climate and strong team spirit, and contribute to a safer society.
What We Offer
At Combitech, we invest in our employees; they are the core, the brain, and the heart of our operations. We do this, among other things, by investing in your competence development, making it easy for you to combine work with everyday life, and offering other great benefits.
We offer exciting assignments within the defense industry where you will have the opportunity to contribute to Sweden's security by ensuring that the Swedish Armed Forces' command and control systems are functional and reliable. Your contribution strengthens national security and contributes to a stable and safe society for everyone.
The Role
As an experienced ILS Engineer, you are responsible for planning operational reliability, availability, maintenance, and requirements management for the Swedish Armed Forces' command and control systems. You will collaborate with suppliers such as Saab and end-users within the Swedish Armed Forces (FM) in working groups focusing on technology, ILS, and sustainment. Your work includes translating the Swedish Armed Forces' functional requirements into both technical and operational requirements.
You will perform maintenance analyses, from component level to organizational structure and training needs, and ensure that suppliers meet all requirements through thorough document reviews. Additionally, you will support the Swedish Armed Forces with investigations and analyses within the maintenance and system support area, which is crucial for maintaining high functionality and reliability in their command and control systems.
The work is based out of our office in Järfälla, but you can live anywhere in Sweden as long as you are willing to travel for work and be on-site in Järfälla at least three days a week.
As the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you must undergo and pass a security clearance with register check.
Selection will take place after the application deadline. We look forward to your application!
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for you who are technically interested, analytical, and have a strong ability to collaborate with others. You are unpretentious and take initiative to drive projects forward. We see that you have a university education in a relevant field or work experience in maintenance solutions.
Your background includes experience in operation and maintenance in complex environments with requirements for high availability and durability. Knowledge of telecom systems, IT systems, and work within the Swedish Armed Forces or the defense industry is meritorious. Knowledge from similar environments such as aviation, rail, nuclear power, or process industry is also valuable.
A B-driver's license is required as the position involves some travel, as well as proficiency in Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
