We are now looking for a special needs teacher or special educator who wants to become an important part of our student health team and contribute to the school's continued development.
As a special needs teacher/special educator, you work closely with school leadership, student health services, and teachers to strengthen the quality of teaching and develop the school's work with support measures and accessible learning environments.
The assignment includes among other things:
- developing accessible and inclusive learning environments,
- guiding and supporting teachers in the work with extra adaptations, special support, and differentiated teaching,
- developing forms for co-teaching and collegial learning,
- contributing to the school's systematic development work from a special educational perspective,
- mapping, analyzing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and following up on special educational measures,
- conducting pedagogical investigations and contributing to well-founded decisions regarding special support,
- collaborating with the school's student health services and external actors when necessary,
- contributing to strengthening the regular teaching so that more students reach the goals of the education.
We are looking for you who are educated as a special needs teacher or special educator.
For the position, it is required that you:
- have a teacher's license issued by the Swedish National Agency for Education,
- have a degree in special education or as a special needs teacher,
- have experience of working within upper secondary school,
- have good knowledge of the school's steering documents and the work with extra adaptations, special support, and accessible learning environments,
- have good ability to guide and support colleagues and work consultatively.
It is meritorious if you have experience of school development, collegial learning, and work in a student health team.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability and personal qualities. You have a relational and solution-focused approach to work and see collaboration as a natural part of the assignment. You are receptive, analytical, and have the ability to create trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You work independently, have good collaboration skills, are structured, and are driven by developing the operations together with others.
The position is permanent with a scope of 100%.
