Developer for System Support and Digital Development

As a developer, you are a key part of translating business needs into concrete solutions. The role involves working together with others to identify improvement needs, analyze them, and develop concrete solutions that make it easier to do the right thing in everyday life. You will work with both the development and maintenance of business-oriented systems and contribute to improving working methods and processes. The assignment also includes developing and further developing AI-based solutions, such as digital assistants and automated workflows.

The role is characterized by a high degree of operational execution capability, where you not only identify needs but also realize them in practice. The position is located in the unit System Support and Digital Development, with close collaboration with other operations within the municipality.

Job Responsibilities

In the role, you will work close to the business and contribute to solutions that simplify everyday life for those we exist to serve.

The responsibilities may include, for example:

• Identify needs and translate them into solutions in systems, processes, and working methods
• Develop, further develop, and maintain business-oriented systems, e-services, and digital support
• Identify opportunities for efficiency, automation, and reduced administrative hassle
• Create simpler analyses and materials to support development and prioritization
• Participate in procurements and requirement setting
• Contribute to AI-based solutions, such as digital assistants and automated workflows
• Collaborate with development leaders and other functions to drive improvement from need to implementation

Qualifications

We are looking for you who thrive in the borderland between business and IT, with a focus on digitalization and development of working methods. You do not need to know everything from the start, but we would like you to have several of the following competencies and abilities:

• You easily understand business needs and translate them into solutions in systems, processes, or working methods
• You are curious about how digital tools, data, and automation can contribute to simpler and more efficient working methods
• You have an interest in AI and want to contribute to developing solutions that create value in everyday life
• You work systematically and have the ability to take work forward from need to implementation
• You easily collaborate, communicate, and create understanding between different functions

We also see that you have post-secondary education in, for example, system science, informatics, IT, digital business development, or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent.
