Do you want to help create experiences and contexts where the world comes closer?
At the Museum of World Culture, we work to bring the world's cultures to life – with knowledge, care, and in dialogue. Our four museums in Stockholm and Gothenburg are places where history, the present, and the future meet through collections, stories, and research.
We offer public experiences that spark curiosity and reflection, create engagement with global issues, and provide new perspectives on our shared world. Here, cultural heritage, societal development, and human rights take center stage – alongside the people in our surrounding world.
We believe in working together across boundaries. Today, we are approximately 150 employees who contribute in various ways to our shared mission.
The Department of Content and Learning primarily works with the development and adaptation of content for exhibitions, both self-produced and borrowed. Within the department, there are several different professions and work areas, such as exhibition production, photography, and pedagogy.
The internship period extends from late summer/autumn term in 2026. The agency offers internship positions for a total of 2 persons.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The internship takes place during autumn 2026 within the Department of Content and Learning at our three Stockholm museums: The Museum of Mediterranean and Near Eastern Antiquities (Medelhavsmuseet), The Museum of Ethnography (Etnografiska museet), and The Museum of Far Eastern Antiquities (Östasiatiska museet). You will gain insight into both content production and exhibition production at a museum.
Your main tasks will consist of film and audio editing, as well as possibly some filming. Other tasks may also be added. The focus will primarily be on the museum's new exhibition, Our Colonial History. You will work together with a content group responsible for ensuring that the content is coherent.
QUALIFICATIONS
We offer opportunities for learning and internship for students at the post-secondary level and individuals in labor market policy measures. We prefer that your post-secondary education is within the field of film and audio editing and camera operation.
Knowledge in animation is a bonus.
Please note that the internship must be an integral part of an ongoing education, or alternatively, conducted in cooperation with the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen). Enrollment at a university/college or with the Employment Service is therefore a requirement (the internship is unpaid).

- Working hours: Daytime.
