A leading operational area

Imaging and Functional Medicine at Skaraborg Hospital is a central part of medical diagnostics and plays a crucial role in the patient's journey through the healthcare system. Here, advanced medical technology meets high competence and a strong focus on quality and development.

The department covers radiology, nuclear medicine, and the intervention center, operating at the hospitals in Skövde and Lidköping. Together, we perform approximately 150,000 examinations every year.

At our workplace, you work in a modern environment featuring MRI scanners, CT scans, ultrasound, conventional radiology, nuclear medicine, and advanced interventional procedures. About the role – a position with variety and impact

Formal aspects of the assignment

• Support unit managers in planning, coordination, and follow-up of operations
• Responsible for daily operational planning and coordination within the unit in collaboration with the unit manager and other section leaders
• Contribute to the development of working methods, routines, and patient flows
• Support scheduling, staffing planning, and competence development in the short and long term
• Collaborate with medically responsible roles in daily operations and in the development of the unit
• Participate in administrative tasks related to the operations
• Act as a natural contact point in daily work

The role does not involve formal VEP responsibility (Operations, Economy, Personnel), but you have a clear function in operational leadership and will support unit managers in all aspects of the operations.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a licensed radiographer, nurse, or assistant nurse with an interest in radiology.
