ABF is Sweden's leading study association. ABF's engagement spans from the individual's daily life to joint efforts for a sustainable world.

As a Business Developer at ABF Värmland, you are the face of the organization. You work with trust and responsibility based on the organization's business plan, budget, established policies, and ABF's core values. We are looking for someone who feels confident working with senior activities and close to the association life, but who can also step in within other areas.

You are responsible for developing study activities, including study circles, cultural programs, and other activities within the department. A significant part of your time consists of outreach activities towards existing and new partners and member organizations with the aim of creating civic education activities. You support our partners by offering association training and business development, ensuring that our guidelines are followed. You work in close collaboration with other Business Developers.

To work as a Business Developer, you need to:

  • Stand by ABF's core values.
  • Work according to goals set by the organization.
  • Appreciate varied tasks.
  • Have local roots in Värmland.
  • Be available to work evenings and weekends.

Merits

  • Active involvement in association life.
  • Experience working in an ideologically driven organization.

Terms of Employment

You must be able to travel within the county, as we have all of Värmland as our workplace, given that our associations are located in both small and large towns. A driver's license and access to a car are required for this position. Start date is by agreement.

ABF has a collective agreement with the union Handelsanställdas förbund, and we follow Fremia's agreement for popular movements. Interviews may be conducted on an ongoing basis.
