Norrmejerier is now looking for a Payroll Specialist who has an eye for detail and thrives with development and responsibility in a business-close role. Your daily life with us

As a Payroll Specialist, you are a qualified support resource for Norrmejerier's managers and employees, working closely with HR and Finance. You are responsible for our payroll process – from registration and preparation to control, payment, and follow-up. You ensure quality and efficiency in payroll work, make labor law interpretations, and analyze and process statistical data. You will participate in mapping our current processes, costs, and risks, and drive development, efficiency, and digitization of payroll processes. In this way, you contribute to improved working methods and increased quality in delivery. As one of two Payroll Specialists, you are part of the HR department and report to the HR Manager.

The role is initially more operational, focusing on payroll preparation and quality assurance, and will over time develop to be more analytical and improvement-driven.

The work includes:

• Working with the entire payroll administration – payroll processing, quality assurance, and payment
• Ensuring correct reporting of salaries, taxes, and employer contributions
• Producing reports, analyses, and follow-up materials
• Working with discrepancies, expense reports, benefits, and registry maintenance
• Performing checks, reconciliations, and accounting materials
• Interpreting and applying laws and collective agreements
• Supporting HR with questions related to HR master data
• Being responsible for pensions, insurance, and other compensations

Who are you?

To thrive in this role, you have post-secondary education in payroll, HR, or finance, as well as a few years of experience in qualified payroll work. You have good knowledge of contract interpretation as well as pension, insurance, and benefit issues. We believe you have worked with analysis, follow-up, and improvement work within payroll. You have good system understanding, preferably with experience from organizations with both white-collar workers and unionized employees.

It is meritorious if you have experience in digitization/automation of processes and knowledge of Agda PS.

You are a person who thrives in operational work as well as in strategic work, where you can elevate the everyday to an analytical and development-oriented mindset with the aim of improving our working methods and contributing to our development.

You will have many contact areas, which is why your social skills are important. You are receptive and view collaboration within and between departments positively. You handle and convey information in a simple and understandable way, in speech and writing, both in Swedish and English, internally and externally.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education
