YOUR NEW JOB

As a development strategist within the Child and Education sector, you have a developing and varied job that spans from qualified administration to strategic development work. You support the sector's management group in strategic issues and work on behalf of the sector manager.

As a development strategist, you are responsible for supporting the development of the operations through analysis, follow-up, investigation, and coordination. You contribute to ensuring that the operations meet national goals, legal requirements, and municipal goals. Together with the management group, you contribute to creating conditions for long-term sustainable development within the education area.

YOUR COMPETENCE

We are looking for you who have an academic education in pedagogy, political science, social science, economics, or other education that the employer deems suitable. You have experience of qualified investigation, analysis, or development work and thrive in a role where you turn complex information into clear decision-making materials. You express yourself well in speech and writing and have good experience in processing, analyzing, and presenting statistics and operational data. Experience of working in the public sector is a prerequisite for success in the role.

It is an advantage if you have experience from school or educational activities and good knowledge of the School Act, curricula, and other regulatory documents within the education area. Experience of systematic quality work, state subsidy management, as well as budget and follow-up work is positive. If you also have experience of project management or process management, it is an advantage.

As a person, you are analytical, structured, and independent. You have the ability to see the big picture while working carefully and methodically. You are communicative and have an easy time building trusting relationships and enjoy working closely with managers, employees, and other stakeholders. Through your engagement and your ability to drive processes, you contribute to the development of the operations and goal achievement.

REQUIREMENTS

Academic education in pedagogy, political science, social science, economics, or similar education that the employer deems suitable.
