TOGETHER WE ARE VINDELN
Our organization is shaped by our employees. It is the people who carry out assignments and deliver public benefit. Together we make a difference and create value for many. Together we develop businesses and people. In the world we live in, all competence is needed, and everyone is important. We are therefore looking for a Development Strategist for the Social Sector - a role for you who wants to combine strategic work with close, concrete support in everyday life. We warmly welcome your application!
YOUR NEW JOB
As a Development Strategist, you work both strategically and close to operations. You hold together overarching processes but are also involved in the implementation. You identify needs, turn ideas into practice, and support managers and employees in succeeding with development work.
You work across the entire sector – elderly care, disability care, authority enforcement, and open care – and contribute to creating direction, engagement, and results. You are part of the sector's management group, together with the sector chief, operations manager, MAR, and MAS.
You are a key person in the transition to the new Social Services Act and in the national learning process. You are responsible, among other things, for working with the sector's roadmap for transition and for coordinating systematic quality work. This means that you plan and conduct quality meetings, follow up on results, and prepare the sector's annual quality report.
An important part is to create direction while staying close to the operations. You drive development issues forward, but you do it together with others and with an understanding of everyday conditions. Sometimes you contribute knowledge or act as a sounding board – and often it is about being involved yourself to make development happen. You also work with investigations, environmental scanning, and collaborate closely with corresponding roles in the municipalities surrounding Umeå.
YOUR COMPETENCE
We are looking for you with an academic degree in social work and experience of case handling, authority enforcement, and documentation. Experience of personnel management or project management is meritorious, as is work with quality issues, follow-up, or individual-based systematic follow-up.
You are self-reliant, structure your work well, and enjoy handling several processes simultaneously. Assignments may come from different directions, so you need to be able to prioritize, see the big picture, and focus on what creates the most value for the entire sector. You are comfortable with assignments that are not always clearly defined from the start and have the ability to prioritize, solve problems, and drive the work forward towards set goals. You have good administrative skills and can support the operations in their development work in a pedagogical manner.
REQUIREMENTS
- Academic degree with a focus on social work.
- Experience of case handling, authority enforcement, and documentation.
YOUR NEW WORKPLACE
The Social Sector has the ambition to continuously develop and improve. As an employee, you have great opportunities to influence the operations and be involved in its development. We offer subsidized fitness care and flexible working hours agreements. There is also the possibility of some remote work and working during commuting time if the tasks allow.
VISION 2030 - TOGETHER WE ARE VINDELN
Vindeln should be home – for everyone who lives and works in the municipality. Here life comes together. Here there is room for everyday life and festivities, work and leisure, and for family and friends. Here there is room for development and establishment. Here there is also room for the soul, for greatness, and for adventure – just outside the door, it awaits. We who live here are ordinary people, perhaps just a little prouder and a little braver than most people. #togetherwearevindeln
Vindeln, with its good opportunities for both child and elderly care and a wide range of housing, is a safe place to live and thrive.
