Do you thrive in a varied daily routine and a role with many contact points? As a Regional Production Manager with us, you play a central role in the unit's market work.
About the unit
FMTIS has four implementation units (GE) in Sweden that perform maintenance of the Swedish Armed Forces' command and control systems within the IT and telecommunications sector. The position is located at GE West. The unit works with maintenance of the Swedish Armed Forces' telephone network, electrical/mechanical, radio, sensor, and surveillance systems, as well as the installation, operation, and maintenance of a wide range of IT systems. The department is geographically spread throughout the GE West area and constitutes the unit's staff of about ten employees.
Main responsibilities
The work mainly consists of planning, leading, coordinating, and ensuring the quality of production within the telecommunications sector for the unit's departments. The work is primarily office-based, but travel to external facilities and other garrisons occurs. On-call duties outside regular working hours are included in the job description.
- Planning of preventive and corrective maintenance work.
- Production and operational leadership of ongoing assignments.
- Follow-up of production and operations.
- Participation in other staff tasks as they arise.

Qualifications
- Upper secondary education with a focus on data/telecommunications technology, or equivalent knowledge assessed by the employer.
- Good knowledge and experience working in Microsoft Office.
- Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Category B driver's license (manual transmission).
Personal qualities
As a Regional Production Manager, you will have a large network, which places high demands on your social skills. As a person, you are independent, service-oriented, and have a high level of security awareness. You enjoy prioritizing and switching between tasks. To fit the role, you must also have strong analytical skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Civil permanent employment, which may begin with a six-month probationary period.

Business travel for work and education occurs.
